Working Meeting, June 28, 2004

XP Denver is holding a group working meeting to look into what the group has been doing and what we hope to accomplish in the future. This retrospective and planning meeting is open to all as we set our course for, not only potentially being the host city for XPAU 2005, but also for determining how members can maintain enthusiasm about meeting and sharing common goals. For this meeting, we will NOT have sponsorship for pizza and sodas, so after we've worked our agenda, we will adjourn to the Rock Bottom Brewery for nourishment!

Details about our working meeting:

This talk will be quite informal, allowing interruptions for question, answer and side digressions.

AGENDA:

1. Review how XP Denver has worked over the past year (a retrospective): what worked well, what didn't work well, what are some memorable events, who were our favorite speakers

2. Brainstorm a path for XP Denver over the next 12 months:
* what are our goals,
* how can we accomplish these goals,
* who should be involved in accomplishing these goals,
* where should we meet to accomplish these goals, and
* when should we (how often should we) meet to accomplish these goals

3. Gather any other concerns, issues, recommendations from the XP Denver community about XP Denver

6:00 - 7:30 PM Facilitated discussion around the three agenda items listed above
7:30 - 8:30 PM Informal discussion/networking at The Rock Bottom Brewery

Participants

We are extending this invitation to all XP Denver members, past and present. Please join us for this discussion, or if you cannot attend, please forward your thoughts to aviggio@qwest.net. As an incentive to participate in this planning session, we will have a large number of Bill Wake's "Extreme Programming Explored" books to giveaway. Plan to attend!
