Agile Project Management vs. Traditional Project Management ...which makes the most sense for your organization? Do you wonder how companies align themselves with one set of practices versus another? Agile Denver aims to help you navigate the waters of indecision by bringing together a panel of highly qualified individuals to share their experiences in a moderated panel discussion, with audience participation encouraged. On Monday, March 28th, Agile Denver welcomes Zach Nies of Level3, Ryan Martens of Rally Software Development, Martin VanDerSchouw of Looking Glass Development and Tad Haas of Microsoft as our panel speakers. Each of them brings to the table a unique perspective of ideas, strategies and thoughts. The meeting will be held at the Qwest Auditorium in Downtown Denver. Doors open at 6:00pm for networking and refreshments. |

Zach Nies has been developing software and leading product development groups for nearly 15 years. He's worked as the Chief Software Architect of Quark, started a desktop software company and is the Chief Technologist for Ralston Technology Group and is currently a Principal Architect with Level3. Zach also has experience speaking at several industry conferences and has served on the HTML working group within the W3C. His successful experiences with Extreme Programming led him to embrace and promote agile practices. |

Ryan Martens, the President of Rally Software Development is an expert in assisting organizations transitioning from traditional development processes to more agile techniques. Prior to founding Rally, Ryan directed the corporate adoption of Internet technologies within Qwest Communications. Ryan is an alumnus of the Colorado Chapter of Young Entrepreneur's Organization and is also involved in a variety of community organizations most notably as a board member for the Front Range Alliance. |

Martin VanDerSchouw currently serves as President & CEO of Looking Glass Development and is in his final year as the President of the PMI Mile Hi Chapter. He is listed in the National Register Who's Who for Executives and Professionals. Additionally, Mr. VanDerSchouw is the recipient of PMI's 2004 Component Leadership Award. Martin's work has appeared in publications such as Forbes Magazine, Interactive Week, Virtual Finance, The LA Times, The San Francisco Chronicle and the San Jose Mercury News. |

Tad Haas has been an active participant in the PMI community since 1987. He is currently the Vice President of Membership for the Colorado branch. Throughout his career, he has helped many organizations evaluate and implement enterprise project management solutions. He currently works with Microsoft as a Business Productivity Specialist. He's been a speaker at the Colorado PMO Forum, PMI College of Performance Measurement, METAmorphosis, Project World events and PMI National Symposiums, among others. |
