The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

Agile Denver supports The Manifesto for Agile Software Development which was composed by seventeen technologists including XP advocates Kent Beck, Ward Cunningham, Ron Jeffries, and Robert Martin.

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:

  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation.
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation.
  • Responding to change over following a plan.

That is, while we value the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

What is Agile Denver

The Agile Denver community was formed to examine XP and other agile best practices -- how, where, and why they work. Now might be the best time to explore a refreshing, pragmatic approach to software development. You just might like what you find, and you will meet new friends and potential colleagues along the way.

Existing participants in this local community include developers, architects, managers, test engineers, entrepreneurs, and executives.

See our FAQ for more answers to your questions. We encourage you to participate in the XP Denver community. Share your knowledge and experience with us!
